Business Planning (South)

Join us at Clayton Hotel, Cambridge for a day of bespoke training for heritage organisations on the subject of finance and business management. This training is being delivered as part of our Heritage Compass training programme, which we have decided to open up to the wider heritage sector – you will join our current programme participants for a day of wider connection, discussion and learning.

The session includes tips for integrating your business plan into the work of your organisation, and how to effectively dovetail a business plan with other strategy documents.

The training will be led by Michelle Wright, who founded Cause4 after leaving the London Symphony Orchestra, where her achievements in private sector fundraising led to her being judged the Best Upcoming Fundraiser at the National Fundraising Awards in 2008.

All participating heritage organisations should match the Heritage Compass criteria:

  • Based in England
  • Less than £1 million in turnover
  • Be either a Start-Up; Registered Charity; CIO; CIC; Social Enterprise; B Corp or Not-For-Profit.
